Will I save money living in Cebu?
We asked expats if they save money living in Cebu. They said...
"Yes, living in Cebu is generally much less expensive than living in the United States. The cost of living in Cebu is significantly lower than in the US, with rent, food, and other basic necessities costing much less. Additionally, the Philippine Peso is much weaker than the US Dollar, meaning that your money will go further in Cebu than it would in the US," remarked another expat in Cebu, Philippines.
"With the local currency weakening over the past year, it has exceeded my plans. I have good spending power here, but try to economize when possible," said a member in Cebu City, Philippines.
