Is the cost of living in Cologne high?

Answer this Question

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Cologne, they wrote...

"The cost of living in Cologne is generally considered to be quite reasonable. Rent prices for apartments in the city center are usually higher than in other parts of the city, but still remain relatively affordable. Groceries and other everyday items are also reasonably priced, and the city offers a wide variety of restaurants and cafes with prices to suit all budgets. Public transportation is also relatively inexpensive, making it easy to get around the city," remarked another expat in Cologne, Germany.
