"The cost of living in Munich is generally considered to be high. Rent prices are particularly expensive, with the average one-bedroom apartment costing around €1,000 per month. Groceries and other everyday items are also more expensive than in other parts of Germany. Eating out can also be costly, with a meal for two at a mid-range restaurant costing around €50. Public transportation is relatively affordable, with a monthly ticket costing around €70," remarked another expat who made the move to Munich, Germany.
