Is the cost of living in Repulse Bay high?

Answer this Question

We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Repulse Bay, they wrote...

"Repulse Bay, is one of the most expensive areas to live in the city. The cost of living is significantly high due to the luxurious lifestyle it offers. Rent for apartments in this area is considerably high, especially for waterfront properties which are in high demand. The cost of groceries and dining out is also higher than in other parts of Hong Kong. This is due to the high-end supermarkets and restaurants that cater to the affluent residents of the area. Transportation costs can also be high, especially for private modes of transport. However, public transportation is readily available and is a more affordable option. Other costs such as utilities, healthcare, and education are also on the higher end, reflecting the overall high cost of living in Repulse Bay. Despite these costs, many people are drawn to the area for its beautiful beaches, upscale lifestyle, and close proximity to the city center," said another expat in Repulse Bay, Hong Kong.
