"The cost of living in Puerto Penasco is relatively low when compared to other major cities in Mexico and the United States. Generally, rental costs are lower than the US, with an average one-bedroom apartment costing $200 to $400 USD a month. Groceries and other household items can also be purchased at a more reasonable price than in the US. Additionally, transportation costs are very low, as taxis are often used instead of owning a vehicle," explained one expat living in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
