Is the cost of living in Amsterdam high?
We asked people how much they someone comfortably live on in Amsterdam, they wrote...
"The cost of living in Amsterdam is generally considered to be high, with prices for basic necessities such as food, housing, and transportation being significantly higher than in other parts of the Netherlands. Renting an apartment in the city center can be expensive, and the cost of groceries is also higher than in other parts of the country. Public transportation is relatively affordable, however, and there are plenty of cultural activities and attractions that are free or low-cost," remarked another expat who made the move to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
