The public hospitals are generally well-equipped and offer a range of services, including general medical care, emergency services, and specialist care. Private hospitals and clinics offer a more comprehensive range of services, including specialist care, cosmetic surgery, and dental care. Many of the private hospitals and clinics also offer international standards of care, with English-speaking staff and modern facilities. In addition, there are a number of pharmacies and health stores in Phuket, offering a range of over-the-counter medicines and health products," said a member in Phuket, Thailand.
