Public health care is provided through the Ministry of Health and other government run facilities, with a public hospital as well as primary and community clinics. Public services are free and cover services such as primary care and emergency care. Private health care services can also be found in Port of Spain, offering specialist and advanced medical services such as radiology and high-tech medical imaging.
