What are healthcare services like in Kampala?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Kampala. They wrote...
"Kampala offers a range of healthcare services, including both public and private hospitals and clinics. The public healthcare system is largely free, though there are some fees for certain services. Private healthcare is also available, and is generally of a higher quality than the public system. In addition, there are a number of NGOs and charities providing healthcare services in Kampala, including HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, and mental health services," wrote a member who made the move to Kampala, Uganda.
