"Healthcare services in La Lucila are provided by state-funded hospital Hospital Municipal San Francisco de Asís which offers an emergency service, a polyclinic, a maternity, a children's hospital, an oncology center, and a geriatric center. Medical consultations are offered at the polyclinic and an out-patient service is available for minor treatments or pathology follow up. There is a private hospital in the area providing consultations and courses of disease, surgery and rehabilitation treatments. Additionally, there are private medical centers specializing in various areas of medicine, such as dermatology, traumatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and nutrition/dietetics. Throughout the city, there are pharmacies, opticians and medical equipment stores providing services to the public," wrote a member who made the move to La Lucila, Argentina.
