What are healthcare services like in Montezuma?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Montezuma. They wrote...

"Montezuma offers a variety of healthcare services for its residents. The public health system is managed by the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS), which provides free or low-cost medical care to all citizens. Private healthcare is also available, with a number of clinics and hospitals offering a range of services. The quality of care is generally good, with many doctors and nurses having received training abroad. In addition, there are a number of pharmacies in the area, providing access to a wide range of medications," said another expat in Montezuma, Costa Rica.
