"Polis, offers a range of healthcare services to both residents and visitors. The town has a local health center that provides basic medical services, including general practice, emergency care, and pharmacy services. For more specialized treatment, patients may need to travel to larger cities like Paphos or Nicosia, which have larger hospitals and specialist clinics. The healthcare system in Cyprus is generally of a high standard, with well-trained medical staff and modern facilities. Both public and private healthcare options are available, although private healthcare is more common. It's also worth noting that many healthcare professionals in Polis and throughout Cyprus speak English, making it easier for English-speaking visitors to communicate their health concerns," remarked another expat in Polis, Cyprus.
