What are healthcare services like in Prague?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Prague. They wrote...

"Healthcare services in Pragueublic are of a high standard. The city has a number of public and private hospitals, clinics, and medical centers that offer a wide range of medical services. The public healthcare system is free for all citizens and is funded by the government. Private healthcare is also available and is often more expensive than public healthcare. Prague also has a number of specialized medical centers that offer specialized treatments such as fertility treatments, plastic surgery, and dentistry. In addition, there are a number of pharmacies and health stores that offer a variety of over-the-counter medications and health products," remarked another expat who made the move to Prague, Czechia.
