What are healthcare services like in Addis Ababa?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Addis Ababa. They wrote...
"Healthcare services in Addis Ababa are generally limited and of low quality. The city has a few public hospitals and clinics, but they are often overcrowded and lack adequate resources. Private healthcare facilities are available, but they are expensive and often out of reach for many people. The city also has a few specialized medical centers, but they are often limited in scope and capacity. In addition, there is a lack of trained medical personnel and access to essential medicines and medical supplies," remarked another expat who made the move to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
