What are healthcare services like in Manglaralto?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Manglaralto. They wrote...
"There is a clinic 10 minutes from the house that handles basic needs. I've not used it but others say it's great and free or very low cost. I can say that my one prescription is $2/50 pills versus $10/30 with insurance in the States. For major stuff, i would have to go 2.5 hours to the big city, but I've been told doctors there are very good and the cost for a procedure is about what you'd pay for a deductible at home," remarked another expat who made the move to Manglaralto, Ecuador.
"In Manglaralto, healthcare services are readily available and provide quality care to individuals in the area. Public hospitals and health centers provide basic medical services as well as specialized care for more complex medical conditions. Most medical professionals at these facilities are also bilingual in both Spanish and English, making them better able to communicate effectively with patients. Additionally, traditional remedies used by local healers are also incorporated into treatment plans, giving patients a better chance at successfully managing their ailments and recovering quickly," explained one expat living in Manglaralto, Ecuador, Ecuador.
