"Naxos, has a well-equipped local hospital that provides basic healthcare services. The hospital is staffed with professional doctors and nurses who can handle a variety of medical conditions. For more serious or specialized medical conditions, patients may need to travel to larger cities in Greece. There are also several pharmacies on the island where residents and visitors can get prescription medications. Private healthcare is also available, with some doctors offering services in areas such as dentistry and physiotherapy. Emergency medical services are available and can respond quickly to urgent situations. However, it's important to note that while healthcare in Naxos is generally good, it may not be as comprehensive or specialized as in larger cities or countries," commented one expat who made the move to Naxos, Greece.
