What are healthcare services like in Hong Kong?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Hong Kong. They wrote...

"Healthcare services in Hong Kong are of a high standard, with a wide range of medical facilities and services available. The public healthcare system is comprehensive and provides free or low-cost medical care to all citizens and permanent residents. Private healthcare is also available, with a range of private hospitals and clinics offering a variety of services. The government also provides subsidies for certain medical treatments, such as cancer treatment and dialysis. In addition, there are a number of specialist medical centres offering advanced treatments and services," remarked another expat in Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
