"Healthcare services in Merida are plentiful and generally of a high quality. The city boasts a number of well-equipped public hospitals that offer both general and specialized care, as well as other specialty clinics and medical offices. Private healthcare providers are also widely available and offer generally excellent services, although they are often more expensive than public options. Pharmacies in the city are well-stocked and provide a wide range of medications and other medical supplies.
