"Cascais offers a wide range of healthcare services for its citizens. The public healthcare system is provided by the National Health Service (NHS) and is free for all citizens. Private healthcare is also available, with a variety of clinics and hospitals offering a range of services. The city also has a number of specialized medical centers, such as the Cascais Hospital, which provides specialized care for cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and other chronic illnesses. Additionally, there are a number of pharmacies and health centers offering a variety of services, such as vaccinations, physical therapy, and mental health services," said another expat in Cascais, Portugal.
"There is a CUF private hospital in Cascais. So far, the care is excellent and the prices are a fraction of what they would be in the US," wrote a member who made the move to Cascais, Portugal.
