"Like any other city, Rayong experiences some level of crime. However, it is generally considered safe for both residents and tourists. The most common crimes reported are petty thefts, such as pickpocketing or bag snatching, particularly in crowded areas. Violent crimes are relatively rare, but they do occur occasionally. The city has a police force that is actively working to maintain safety and security. It's always recommended for visitors to take standard precautions to protect their belongings and personal safety," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Rayong, Thailand.
