"Kato Paphos is generally considered a safe and peaceful place to live and visit. The crime rate is relatively low compared to other cities around the world. Most of the crimes reported are minor offenses such as petty theft or pickpocketing, which are more common in tourist areas. Violent crime is rare, and the local police force is efficient and responsive. However, like any other place, it is always advisable for residents and tourists to take basic safety precautions, such as not leaving valuables unattended and being aware of their surroundings, especially at night. Overall, Kato Paphos is a secure and welcoming destination with a low crime rate," remarked another expat who made the move to Kato Paphos, Cyprus.
