Is there a lot of crime in Yasawa Islands?

Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"The Yasawa Islands in Fiji are generally considered safe for tourists and locals alike. The crime rate is relatively low, especially when compared to larger cities or more populated areas. Most of the crimes that do occur are petty in nature, such as minor thefts. Violent crime is extremely rare, particularly against tourists. The local communities are typically very welcoming and friendly towards visitors. However, like any travel destination, it is always recommended to take standard safety precautions, such as not leaving valuables unattended and being aware of your surroundings," wrote a member who made the move to Yasawa Islands, Fiji.
