Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"Kopavogur, generally has a low crime rate, similar to the rest of the country. Iceland is known for its low levels of crime, and Kopavogur is no exception. The city is considered safe, with incidents of violent crime being particularly rare. Petty crimes such as theft do occur, but they are not common. The local police force is efficient and responsive, contributing to the overall sense of safety in the community. However, like any place, it is always advised to take basic precautions to protect oneself and one's belongings," commented one expat who made the move to Kopavogur, Iceland.
