Is there a lot of crime in Perugia?

Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"Perugia is generally considered to be a safe city, with low levels of crime. However, as with any city, there are some areas that are more prone to criminal activity. Petty theft is the most common type of crime in Perugia, with pickpocketing and bag snatching being the most common occurrences. Tourists should be aware of their surroundings and take extra precautions when travelling in unfamiliar areas," remarked another expat who made the move to Perugia, Italy.
