Is there a lot of crime in Liguria?
We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...
"Liguria is generally considered to be a safe region in Italy, with low levels of crime. However, as with any region, there are some areas where crime is more prevalent. Petty theft is the most common type of crime in Liguria, with pickpocketing and bag snatching being the most common offences. Tourists should take extra care when travelling in the region, particularly in larger cities such as Genoa and La Spezia," commented one expat who made the move to Liguria, Italy.
