Is there a lot of crime in Ajijic?

Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"Ajijic, is generally considered a safe town with a relatively low crime rate. Like any other place, it does experience some crime, but it is typically minor and non-violent in nature, such as petty theft or minor property crimes. Violent crime is relatively rare, and the town is popular among expatriates, particularly from the United States and Canada, due to its safety, beautiful surroundings, and pleasant climate. However, it's always important for residents and visitors to take standard safety precautions, such as not displaying valuable items in public and being aware of their surroundings," said another expat in Ajijic, Mexico.
