"Like any city, Hamilton experiences some level of crime. However, compared to other major cities around the world, the crime rate is relatively low. The city's crime mainly consists of petty theft, burglary, and minor assaults, which are more common in certain areas. Violent crime is less common, but it does occur occasionally. The local police force is active and responsive in maintaining law and order. Overall, Hamilton is considered a safe city to live in and visit, but residents and visitors are advised to take standard precautions to protect their personal safety and belongings," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Hamilton, New Zealand.
