"Playa Blanca, is generally considered a safe destination for tourists and locals alike. Like any other place, it has occasional incidents of crime, but they are not widespread or common. The most common issues reported are petty crimes like pickpocketing or bag snatching, particularly in crowded areas. Violent crime is relatively rare, especially against tourists. Local authorities are proactive in maintaining safety and security in the area. However, it's always recommended for visitors to take standard precautions to protect their belongings and personal safety," remarked another expat who made the move to Playa Blanca, Panama.
