Is there a lot of crime in Palawan Island?

Answer this Question

We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...

"Palawan Island in the Philippines is generally considered a safe destination for tourists and locals alike. However, like any other place, it is not completely free from crime. Petty crimes such as pickpocketing, theft, and scams can occur, particularly in crowded areas and tourist hotspots. Additionally, there have been occasional reports of more serious crimes, including kidnapping and terrorism-related incidents, particularly in the southern parts of the island. It is important for visitors to remain vigilant, take necessary precautions, and follow local advice to ensure their safety while exploring Palawan," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Palawan Island, Philippines.
