What is life like as an expat in your area?
When we asked people living abroad what life is like in their areas and how people spend their time, they said...
"Life for expats and digital nomads in Cuenca is generally quite pleasant. The city is known for its colonial architecture, vibrant culture, and friendly locals. The cost of living is low, making it an attractive destination for those looking to stretch their budget. The city is also well-connected, with reliable internet and plenty of coworking spaces. The climate is mild year-round, with temperatures rarely exceeding 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Cuenca is a great place to explore, with plenty of outdoor activities, markets, and restaurants to enjoy," remarked another expat in Cuenca, Ecuador.
"For Ecuadorians, life revolves around family. Expats are very social here, though there aren't too many of us. Most expats who are in Cuenca are adventurous, love to explore the country, and are focused pretty much on living life," said a member in Cuenca, Ecuador.
