What is life like as an expat in your area?
When we asked people living abroad what life is like in their areas and how people spend their time, they said...
"Patzcuaro is a popular destination for expats and digital nomads due to its stunning natural beauty, vibrant culture, and affordable cost of living. Expats and digital nomads in Patzcuaro can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, with plenty of opportunities to explore the local culture and cuisine. The city is also home to a thriving expat community, with plenty of social activities and events to get involved in. The city is well-connected, with good public transport links and easy access to other parts of Mexico. Patzcuaro is a great place for expats and digital nomads to live, work, and explore," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Patzcuaro, Mexico.
"People here, like other cities, love fiestas of which their are many. Family and socializing are the priorities for my friends. Men are macho and kind to women and children. People sit outdoors and love to talk. Of course, they must make a living. Couples marry young here and the young women and their beautiful children are often the only ones on the little buses during the day. People like to follow soccer on t.v," commented one expat who made the move to Patzcuaro, Mexico.
