"Foreigners often have a variety of jobs in Cabo San Lucas such as serving in restaurants, working in hotels, taking up custodial positions, teaching English language classes, providing tour guiding services, and working in retail stores. Other popular jobs among foreigners in Cabo San Lucas include participating in the local diving industry, developing water-sports activities, and working in related fields. Additionally, there are unique seasonal jobs available in the area such as harvesting local produce, cleaning beach areas, and working in the local fishing industry," remarked another expat in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

"Mostly sales positions that bring in or have brought in foreign buyers. Examples are real estate and timeshare (vacation ownership) and businesses that support expats. So I have seen more foreigner start up business over the last couple of years because the government has made it easier for foreigners to do start ups. Prior to this you had to have a Mexican partner to start a business this is no longer the case, You can also now have your family work for you at your business, so the laws of who can work for you has changed too," said a member in Cabo San Lucas , Mexico.
