Is there a lot of diversity? Are people in Ranong accepting of differences?

Answer this Question

When we asked people about diversity in Ranong and whether locals are accepting of differences, they said...

"Ranong, is a diverse region with a mix of Thai, Burmese, and other ethnic groups. The city is known for its multicultural environment, with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and religions living together. The local population is generally accepting of differences, as they are accustomed to interacting with people from various ethnicities and cultures. However, like any place, individual attitudes can vary. The Thai culture, in general, promotes respect and tolerance, which is reflected in the way they treat others, regardless of their differences," remarked another expat in Ranong, Thailand.
