"Yes, there is a lot of diversity in Alexandria. The city is home to a variety of ethnic and religious groups, including Coptic Christians, Muslims, Greeks, Italians, and Armenians. People in Alexandria are generally accepting of differences and are known for their hospitality and openness to different cultures," remarked another expat who made the move to Alexandria, Egypt.
"Egypt is a Muslim country and there is a large percentage of christens as well. They live in harmony for the most part. Most people like expects and as long as you don’t offend any one you will be fine," explained one expat living in Alexandria, Egypt.
