Is there a lot of diversity? Are people in Amalfi accepting of differences?
When we asked people about diversity in Amalfi and whether locals are accepting of differences, they said...
"Amalfi, is a small coastal town known for its picturesque landscapes and historical significance. The population is predominantly Italian, with a relatively homogenous cultural and ethnic background. However, being a popular tourist destination, it experiences a constant influx of people from different parts of the world, which brings a certain level of cultural diversity to the area. As for acceptance of differences, Italians are generally known for their warm hospitality and openness towards visitors. The people of Amalfi, accustomed to interacting with tourists, are typically welcoming and friendly. However, like any place, individual attitudes can vary. It's important to note that acceptance of differences can be influenced by various factors, including personal beliefs, experiences, and cultural norms," wrote a member who made the move to Amalfi, Italy.
