Is there a lot of diversity? Are people in Amman accepting of differences?

Answer this Question

When we asked people about diversity in Amman and whether locals are accepting of differences, they said...

"Amman, is a city with a considerable amount of diversity. It is home to people from various ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, including Jordanians, Palestinians, Iraqis, Syrians, and other nationalities. This melting pot of cultures has led to a rich tapestry of traditions, languages, and cuisines. People in Amman are generally accepting of differences and are known for their warm hospitality. They are accustomed to interacting with people from different backgrounds, and this has fostered a sense of tolerance and understanding. However, like any other city, there may be individuals who hold prejudiced views, but overall, Amman is a welcoming and inclusive city," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Amman, Jordan.
