"Bydgoszcz is a diverse city with people from many different backgrounds and cultures. The city is known for its acceptance of differences, and people from all walks of life are welcomed and respected. The city is home to a variety of religious and ethnic groups, and there is a strong sense of community and acceptance among its citizens," remarked another expat who made the move to Bydgoszcz, Poland.

"This is a difficult one and without sounding racist I have to say that it is a racilaly pure country due to the works of Hitler and Stalin Poland is probably unique in Europe in having a near 100% Catholic religion and pure slavic culture. Foriegners are tolerated but after the intial curiousity has worn off beware as you are percived to be a 'rich foriegner' unless very careful, a low profile is best," explained one expat living in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
