It offers a comprehensive international curriculum from pre-K to grade 12, with a focus on developing global citizens. The school also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and art. The British Vietnamese International School (BVIS) is another top international school in Hanoi. It offers a British-style curriculum from pre-K to grade 12, with a focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The school also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and art. The Hanoi International School (HIS) is a bilingual school offering a curriculum based on the American Common Core standards. The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and art. "It is small, about 300 kids, but the great thing about it is the close sense of community and the school's open door policy. I would say that 90% of the teachers are excellent and well qualified. Once in a while there will be one or two that fall through the cracks. You just need to watch out for those. This is common in ALL schools anywhere!!," remarked one expat living in Hanoi with children attending Hanoi International School.
