Comfortable walking shoes are a must, as well as flip-flops or sandals suitable for the beach. Pack your necessary toiletries, but remember that most things can be bought locally. However, if you have specific brands you prefer, it might be a good idea to bring them along. Don't forget to pack your prescription medications and a basic first aid kit. It's also recommended to bring a water bottle with a filter, as tap water in Vietnam is not safe to drink.
