What should I pack when moving to Columbus?

Answer this Question

We asked people living in Columbus to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Columbus, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and lifestyle. Pack clothing for all seasons, including a warm coat and boots for the cold winter months. Bring comfortable shoes for walking around the city, as well as an umbrella for the frequent rain showers. If you plan to cook, make sure to bring your favorite kitchen items, such as pots, pans, and utensils. Don't forget to bring any important documents, such as your driver's license, birth certificate, and social security card. Finally, make sure to bring items that will help you feel at home, such as photos, books, and decorations," said another expat in Columbus, the United States.
