What should I pack when moving to Atlanta?

Answer this Question

We asked people living in Atlanta to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Atlanta, it is important to pack clothing for all seasons, as the weather can vary greatly. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes for walking, as Atlanta is a very walkable city. It is also a good idea to bring a raincoat and umbrella, as the city experiences a fair amount of rain. Additionally, it is important to bring any necessary documents, such as a driver's license, birth certificate, and social security card. Finally, don't forget to bring any items that will make your new home feel like home, such as pictures, books, and other decorations," wrote a member who made the move to Atlanta, the United States.

"Wish I had Irish tea, Irish butter, my father maybe. I wish I had left at home all electrical items," explained one expat living in Atlanta, US.
