Bring items that will help you stay cool, such as a fan, sunglasses, and a hat. Make sure to bring a good pair of walking shoes, as Sao Paulo is a large city with plenty of walking opportunities. Additionally, pack items that will help you adjust to the culture, such as books about the city and its history, and items that will help you learn Portuguese.
