Pack your essential toiletries, but remember that most things can be bought locally. However, if you have specific brands you can't live without, it's better to bring them with you. Bring any prescription medications you need, along with a copy of your prescription. It's also a good idea to pack a basic first aid kit. If you plan on cooking, consider packing some of your favorite spices or condiments that may not be available locally. Pack your important documents such as your passport, driver's license, and any necessary visas or work permits. Also, bring multiple copies of these documents. Don't forget your electronics like your phone, laptop, and chargers. An international power adapter might also be necessary.
