What should I pack when moving to Hamburg?

Answer this Question

We asked people living in Hamburg to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...

"When moving to Hamburg, it is important to pack warm clothing, as the climate is generally cool and wet. It is also a good idea to bring a raincoat and umbrella, as well as comfortable shoes for walking. Additionally, it is important to bring any necessary documents, such as a passport, visa, and proof of health insurance. It is also a good idea to bring a few items to make your new home feel more comfortable, such as pictures, books, and other personal items. Finally, it is important to bring any necessary electronics, such as a laptop, phone, and charger," remarked another expat who made the move to Hamburg, Germany.
