What should I pack when moving to Saint-Tropez?
We asked people living in Saint-Tropez to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...
"When moving to Saint-Tropez, you should pack a variety of clothing options to accommodate the Mediterranean climate, including lightweight clothing for the warm summers and heavier items for the cooler winters. Don't forget to pack swimwear for the beautiful beaches and upscale attire for the town's glamorous nightlife. Pack comfortable walking shoes for exploring the town and hiking in the nearby hills. Also, consider packing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. Bring all necessary toiletries, but keep in mind that France has many pharmacies where you can purchase items you may have forgotten. Pack any necessary medications and a copy of your prescriptions, as well as a basic first aid kit. Remember to bring important documents such as your passport, driver's license, and any necessary visas or work permits. If you plan on cooking, you might want to pack some specialty items that might be hard to find in France, but generally, you can find most things you need in local grocery stores. Pack any electronics you'll need, including a power adapter for French outlets. Lastly, consider packing some personal items to make your new place feel like home, such as photos or small mementos," said a member in Saint-Tropez, France.
