What should I pack when moving to La Ceiba?
We asked people living in La Ceiba to list three things they wish they had brought and three they wish they had left behind. They responded...
"When moving to La Ceiba, it is important to pack items that will help you adjust to the climate and culture. Bring comfortable, lightweight clothing that is suitable for the warm, tropical climate. Be sure to include items such as sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat to protect you from the sun. Additionally, pack items that will help you adjust to the local culture, such as a phrasebook or dictionary to help you learn the language. Finally, don't forget to bring any necessary documents, such as your passport and visa," remarked another expat in La Ceiba, Honduras.
"If your moving to La Ceiba from outside of Honduras, the less you bring the better. Unless you are attached to your car, furniture etc. You can find everything you will ever need," said a member in La Ceiba, Honduras.
