"When moving to Puerto Vallarta, it is important to pack clothing appropriate for the climate. This means packing lightweight, breathable clothing made of materials other than denim, as well as long-sleeved tops and bottoms. A water-resistant jacket and an umbrella are also recommended for the rainy season. Flip-flops, comfortable shoes, and a hat to protect from the sun are essential. Sunscreen and insect repellant are also crucial for a comfortable stay in Puerto Vallarta, as well as bathing suits for trips to the beach. Don’t forget to bring a universal adapter if you plan on bringing any electronic devices. Finally, a phrasebook, map, and money belt could prove to be very useful for a safe and successful journey," said another expat in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
