It is also important to bring a good pair of walking shoes, as Kathmandu is a city of hills and cobblestone streets. Additionally, it is a good idea to bring a few basic toiletries, as well as any medications you may need. Finally, don't forget to bring a few items to make your new home feel like home, such as photos, books, and other personal items," commented one expat who made the move to Kathmandu, Nepal.
