What is a typical expat home or apartment like in Patzcuaro?

Answer this Question

We asked expats what a typical home or apartment in Patzcuaro is like. They answered...

"Most expat homes in Patzcuaro, will offer an authentic Mexcian experience, but with a few modern touches. They often have a rustic, colonial feel with terracotta tiled floors and beamed ceilings, as well as bright colors and colorful artwork. The homes often feature a courtyard or garden, balconies overlooking the town square, and some terraces with views of Lake Patzcuaro. Inside they often have fireplaces and large, airy rooms with furniture made from Mexican woods. Kitchens are typically well-equipped with modern appliances," said another expat in Patzcuaro, Mexico.
