Generally, the average cost of renting an apartment in Salmiya is quite high, with prices ranging from around 500 Kuwaiti Dinar (KD) per month for a studio apartment to over 1,000 KD per month for a larger apartment. Buying a property in Salmiya can be even more expensive, with prices ranging from around 1,500 KD per square meter for an older property to over 3,000 KD per square meter for a newer property," wrote a member who made the move to Salmiya, Kuwait.
